xAssets Announces US Air Force Security Certification for Version 7 ITAM and FAM Products
Wilmington Delaware (March 8, 2018) - xAssets (www.xassets.com), a major provider of IT asset management (ITAM), software asset management (SAM) and fixed asset management (FAM) software tools to corporate and government entities, announced today that its Version 7 ITAM and FAM products have been certified by the US Air Force (USAF) for use in Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) environments.
Following a lengthy vetting and analysis process, managed by USAF IT security experts, the xAssets software was proven to operate securely on the world's most critical information networks. Beginning in April 2018, xAssets Version 7.2 can be rapidly deployed on SIPRNET and NIPRNET to fulfil complex requirements or very large database implementations requiring an asset-centric solution. The xAssets ITAM software securely performs an agentless scan of each device on the network and creates detailed records of each device's configuration, including listing the processor type, available RAM and disk space, disk capacity, communications ports and boards as well as the number of monitors and printers attached to the device. Being fully browser-based, data and reports can be viewed and downloaded using any device with internet access.
