Overview
Build 7.3.51 includes new Joiners and Leavers functions, network outage handling, improvements to Excel imports, stronger security,
and improved batch processing. We can keep the app alive during network and server outages even in low signal areas,
and we have locked down our servers and software to 2025 US DoD standards - an update built for reliability and security.
We’ve also tuned the Collection Server, improved logging, and made setup easier.

- Updated processes and flows for Joiners and Leavers, including asset receiving into storage and deployment to users
- Improved tolerance for server and network outages, with user information and a continuous reconnection attempt
- Improvements in data table presentation
- Excel imports are now tolerant of blank lines at the end of the worksheet
- Imports direct from Excel now support AM/PM formatted dates
- Imports direct from Excel translate time zones based on user or batch time zone settings
- Security Improvements
- Automated user group detection from Azure SSO now detects the correct model user group when no match was made
- Server and product hardening upgraded to conform to 2025 STIG US DOD USAF guidelines
- Batch Processor Improvements
- Batch now successfully picks up new customer instances without a restart. Previously, the process sometimes stopped
- Batch now reports and logs CPU usage of each batch job and all resident threads
- Discovery and Collection Server Improvements
- Discovery Location to IP Mapping can now choose different collection servers within a subnet
- Improvements to the Collection Server Installer
- Collection Server automatically refreshes/flushes DNS when it loses connection e.g. during a failover
- Improvements in Collection Server to allow the copying of files and folders to the app server
- Deep logging of Collection Server activity can now be enabled

Overview
This is a service release for VLDB customers who were experiencing performance issues with large batch jobs.
Whats new in this release ?
- Users will no longer experience slowness, deadlocks or locking when large batch jobs are running
- Sql optimizations to improve performance and avoid locking. All Sql Server on-prem databases can now use read committed snapshot isolation (RCSI)
- Batch now uses a separate connection to query batch job status
- Databases and logins now correctly operate when the database is set to read-only in MariaDB and Sql Server

Whats new in this release ?
- Searching records now returns the best matching records at the top, instead of respecting the query sort order for filtered records
- Assets now automatically show an image of the asset based on make and model within the Asset Edit screen
- JIRA integration has been rewritten and now uses AI matching to link assets mentioned in a ticket
- All xAssets languages including AMSX, XCS, and XDSL now have syntax coloring in the code editor
- Email notifications can now include images

Overview
7.3.47 contains enhancements to 7.3.44 including security fixes related to instance security, password reset processes, and discovery
includes further information useful to cybersecurity audits. It also contains an enhancement to multiple valued custom fields,
enabling sub tables and inter-table relationships to be hooked into any data model component and not just the "Asset" table.
Whats new in this release ?
- Discovery now collects Windows Firewall data and other attributes useful to cybersecurity audits
- API keys are now managed using a dedicated API key management screen
- Reset password has been improved
- New users now receive an email with a temporary password to set their password during login
- Instances can now be locked down by IP address
- Multiple valued custom fields can now be added to many tables, previously only the "Asset" table supported these

- PCanalyser is now complied with latest versions of VS2022. This results in larger executables, but the code is more secure and faster

- AMSX2 commands have enhanced security for amsx system functions
- Fixed a bug in Transformation Mailmerge where the destination was expecting a file to read the layout
